I was born and raised in Tribune and graduated from GCHS. Upon graduation, I moved to Boulder CO, where I did concrete and construction work, while my wife attended school for a year. After which, I moved to Hays KS and earned a degree in Instructional Technology Education.
Major: Industrial Technology Education
Minor: Special Education
Masters: Building Administration (In progress)
I began my teaching career at GCHS in 2012 and currently teach Cabinet Making, Drafting, and Personal Finance.
While at GCHS I’ve had multiple opportunities to teach a variety of subject matter, including Cabinet Making 1&2, Drafting 1,2,&3, General Construction, Weight Lifting, 6th-grade Social Studies, and Personal Finance. Prior to working at GCHS, I taught for a semester in Stanton County, where I took over a history class, that the previous teacher was dismissed from at Christmas break.
My wife and I married in 2010, and since then have had three children. Although, I teach in Tribune my family and I don’t currently live there. We instead live in South Western Hamilton County, near her family farm.
When I’m not teaching much of my time is spent with my family and working on random projects.
