I am a transplant from Dallas, Texas. I graduated from high school at Irving high School. Go Tigers! I then attended and graduated from Baylor University with a degree in social work. Go Bears! I contiunued my education at the University of Alabama where I received my Masters in Social Work. Roll Tide! After I married and had my two children I went back to school to get my teaching certificate. I attended the University of North Texas. I received my Masters in Curriculum from Newman Universtiy.
I have the following degrees: BSW, MSW, teacher certification, MEd in Curriculum.
I am considered a highly qualified teacher according to the State of Kansas.
I am ceritfied to teach K-9 in math.
I am certified to teach K-6 in all subject areas.
I have attended 3 Kim Sutton Math Workshops
I attended a 3 year math camp at Fort Hays University.
I have been married for 39 years to my wonderfuf husband, Wade. Our two children are products of this school system. We have two children and five grandchildren. Our son, Christopher, lives in Olathe, Kansas. Our daughter, Erin, lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We visit them as often as we are able.
No pets at this time even though we are dog lovers.
I LOVE to read!!!! I also love to do do different crafts and a little quilting. Working in my yard is another activity that I love doing in the spring and summer, but I am ready for it to end by the time school starts.
