Like many educators, I went into education in part because of the many positive experiences that I was fortunate to have as a young person. A central goal for me as an educator for over 30 years here in Kansas is to do everything that I can to help all students succeed. Because I have found helping students quite fulfilling, I have stayed in education as my career after growing up here in western Kansas on a family farm outside of Plains.
My initial college degree is from Emporia State University as a Social Studies teacher while my Masters in Administration was earned at Fort Hays State University. I earned my superintendent’s certificate from Emporia State University.
I have enjoyed serving Greeley County Schools as the PreK-5 Principal and Superintendent since July of 2016.
A career educator since 1984, my experince includes 29 years as a teacher and over 5 years as an administrator.
My wife and I have been blessed with 5 sons and enjoy living in Tribune. It is terrific to be able to work with all the great people here in Greeley County to help provide an outstanding education for our students!
